Let's talk blouse accessories. What should look for when accessorizing blouses and shirts?

Well first and foremost, as I mentioned in dress accessories, you need to consider the simple/elaborate rule:  if your clothes are simple, your accessories may be elaborate; if your clothes are elaborate, your womans accessories must be simple in order to give the ensemble only one focal point.  Accessorizing is all about balance.

In the photo to the right, the crisp, white blouse is a woman's business attire staple that has withstood the test of time.  By adding the long, chunky necklace and hoop earrings, all focus goes straight to this pretty girl's face.  The classic clothes/funky accessory combo also takes this outside the realm of traditional business, like law or banking, and into a more artsy world like architecture or interior design.  If she regularly toys with her accessories as she's doing here, she probably has men swarming around her like bees.
